Publish and use your own domain
You have two ways to share your page. The free address works immediately. Your own domain looks more professional and takes a few extra steps.
Option A: the free address (works now)
In the page editor press Publish. Your page is live at
molansia.com/p/your-page-name.Press Live to copy the link, open the page or take it offline.
Share this link. The Buy button works when your checkout is connected.Option B: your own domain, step 1. What is a domain?
A domain is the web address you own, like
myshop.com. You rent it from a domain provider (for example Hostinger) for about 10 to 15 dollars a year. The Hostinger link is a partner link: MOLANSIA may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.For a page you can use a part of it, like
shop.myshop.com. This is called a subdomain and it is the easiest way.Step 2. Tell MOLANSIA the address
Settings, Domains. Choose the project, type your address (for example
shop.myshop.com) and press Save domain.Do not type
https://or any slash. Only the name.MOLANSIA shows the CNAME target: a value that looks like a web address. Keep this tab open.Step 3. Add one record at your domain provider
Open your domain provider, find DNS (or "DNS records", "Manage DNS"). Add a record: Type CNAME, Name
shop(the part before your domain), Value the CNAME target from MOLANSIA. Save.If you use Cloudflare, set the proxy to DNS only (grey cloud) until it is verified.
Nothing changes on your page yet.Step 4. Wait, then verify
DNS needs 5 to 60 minutes (rarely a few hours). Then press Verify domain and SSL in Settings, Domains.
Both Domain and SSL must say active. Follow the extra validation records MOLANSIA shows if there are any.
Your page opens at your own address with a lock icon.If it does not work
Check the spelling of the name and the value, make sure there is only one record for that name, and wait longer. Many providers show the change instantly in their panel but the internet needs time.
